Are you contracted in with medical aid We have contracts with most medical aids. We also claim directly from the medical aid. Please contact reception for further information on your specific medical aid.
Do you have an after-hour service Yes, we have an after-hour service in case of an emergency for patients of the practice. You can contact 076 825 2166 and the doctor on call will answer with advice. An after hour rate will apply for any visits after hours.
Do you do routine home visits to residential and old-age homes Yes, it can be arranged at reception. Please note that there will be an extra call-out fee.

What do I do in an emergency The local hospitals are equipped to deal with emergencies. Please visit Medi-Clinic Vergelegen casualty (021 850 9000) or Busamed casualty (021 480 6600).
Do you dispense medication Yes, we dispense acute medication with consultations.
Do you do chronic medicine applications to the medical aid Yes, we do all chronic applications of the medical aids with which we have contracts. A fee for this service applies.

Do you do repeat prescriptions without a consultation We can do repeat prescriptions according to our clinical discretion. Most patients need to be seen six-monthly to have their chronic medicine re-prescribed.
Who can be contacted about an account query We have a contract with MFI. They are specialised accountants and IT specialists. Please call them directly on 021 914 0441.
What happens if I have been for an X-Ray or had a blood test We will contact you as soon as the results are available. If you do not hear from us within a few days, please let reception know.

Do you do ultrasounds Unfortunately not. You can be examined and referred to the radiology department at one of the local hospitals.
